261948-85-0 - Introduction
Diacetato[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]ruthenium(II) is a metal-organic complex, its molecular formula is C64H48O4P2Ru. Its properties are as follows:
1. Appearance: Diacetato[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]ruthenium(II) is a pale yellow solid.
2. Melting Point: about 150-160 ℃.
3. Solubility: It is soluble in organic solvents, such as alcohols, ethers and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Use:
Diacetato[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]ruthenium(II) is an important chiral ligand, it is widely used in asymmetric catalytic reactions. It can coordinate with other metal complexes to form catalysts, and is widely used in Chiral synthesis, asymmetric hydrogenation, oxidation and other fields.
Method:
The preparation method of Diacetato[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]ruthenium(II) is more complicated, it can be roughly divided into the following steps:
1. The diphenylphosphine ligand is prepared by synthesizing a precursor compound, such as 2,2 '-bis (diphenylphosphine)-1,1'-binaphthyl Nickel (II).
2. The prepared diphenylphosphine ligand was reacted with ruthenium (III) chloride to give Diacetato[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]ruthenium(II).
Safety Information:
The safety information about Diacetato[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]ruthenium(II) is less reported, as a result, knowledge of its toxicity and danger is limited. Appropriate protective measures, such as wearing gloves, masks and eye protection, are required during use. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
