303-07-1 - Introduction
It can reduce hot Pheline's solution without reducing hot Tollen's reagent. When encountering ferric chloride, it is purple to blue. Soluble in ethanol, ether and hot water. The precipitated from the water contains one molecule of crystal water with a melting point of 150-170 ℃, which changes according to the heating speed and decomposes into resorcinol. It's irritating.

When the decomposition reaction is carried out, the pH value of the reaction mixture is maintained at 6, and sulfuric acid is added appropriately to adjust the pH value. When the decomposition reaction is complete, add sulfuric acid to the mixture to make the pH value reach 3, and insoluble matter is formed. After filtration and separation, continue to add sulfuric acid to the filtrate to make the pH value reach 1, and cool to 5 ℃ to form 2, 6-dihydroxybenzoic acid crystallization, filtration, crystallization, washing with water, drying at 70 ℃ to obtain the finished product. |
