O-[(Ethoxycarbonyl)Cyanomethylenamino]-N,N,N',N'-Tetramethyluronium Hexafluorophosphate is an organic compound, also known as TESU, with the following properties:
1. Physical properties: TESU is a white solid with good solubility, soluble in common organic solvents such as dimethylformamide (DMF), dichloromethane and dimethyl sulfide.
2. Chemical properties: TESU is a lively activated amide reagent, which can be used for the activation and coupling reactions of amino acids, peptides and other ammonia-containing compounds. It can react with an amine-based compound to form the corresponding amide compound.

4. Preparation method: TESU can be obtained by reacting O-/(ethoxycarbonyl) cyanomethylamine with N,N,N',N'-tetramethylthiourea and hexafluorophosphoric acid. The reaction is generally carried out at room temperature, and care needs to be taken to prevent the presence of moisture, so as not to initiate dangerous reactions.
