Preparation Method:
Methoxymethyltriphenylphosphonium bromide can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. Using triphenylphosphonium as a starting material, it is reacted with methanol in an organic solvent such as ethanol, chloroform or dichloromethane to obtain tris (methoxymethyl) phenylphosphonium.
2. react the product obtained in the previous step with hydrogen bromide to generate methoxymethyltriphenylphosphonium bromide.
