| Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties blue light red powder. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. Its aqueous solution is yellow to brownish red, and diluted sulfuric acid is added to turn it into red and orange; concentrated caustic soda is turned into brilliant red. It is rose red in concentrated sulfuric acid and turns orange after dilution; the color disappears in concentrated nitric acid. When dyeing, copper and iron are encountered, and the color and light changes. |
| Use | It is used for dyeing and printing of wool, silk and its fabrics, and also can dye nylon and its blended fabrics. The finished wool dyeing product is subjected to ultraviolet light, and the color and light are changed. The color of the finished wool dyeing product is darkened to purple by post-medium method, and the color of the finished wool dyeing product is colored to wine red by pre-medium method. |

After diazotization of 1,2,4-acid (I. e. 1-amino -2-naphthol -4-sulfonic acid), it is coupled with 1-phenyl-3-methylpyrazolone, and then through salting out, filtration, drying and other processing processes, this product is prepared. The dyeing fastness of this product on wool: sun exposure level 5, soaping, washing and sweat stains level 5, carbonization level 4, cooking level 4-5, ironing level 3.
