3688-92-4 - Introduction
Thorin I(Thorin I) is an organic compound with the following properties:
1. Appearance: Thorin I is a yellow powdery solid.
2. Solubility: It can be dissolved in water, but insoluble in organic solvents.
3. Stability: The compound is relatively stable at room temperature and stored for a long time under dry conditions.
Thorin I is mainly used in the field of analytical chemistry and is often used as an analytical reagent for cobalt. It can form a blue complex with cobalt ions, and the content of cobalt can be determined by colorimetry or fluorescence method.
The method of preparing Thorin I is as follows:
1. First, 2-naphthol reacts with aniline to form aniline arsenate.
2. Then, 1-(2-arsic acid phenylazo)-2-naphthol -3,6-disulfonic acid was generated by coupling reaction of arsic acid aniline and o-thiophenol acid.
3. Finally, the product is reacted with the sodium salt to form Thorin I.
The following safety information is required when using, storing and handling Thorin I:
1. avoid contact with skin and eyes, such as accidental contact, should immediately rinse with plenty of water.
2. in the use of the process to maintain good ventilation conditions.
3. Store Thorin I in a dry, cool place.
