4-Hydrazino-3-nitropyridine - Introduction
4-Hydrazino-3-nitropyridine is an organic compound with the chemical formula C5H5N5O2.

-Melting Point: 137-142 ℃
-Boiling point: 249-250 ℃
-Solubility: Slightly soluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, dimethyl sulfoxide, etc.
Use:
4-Hydrazino-3-nitropyridine is often used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and is used in the synthesis of other compounds. It can be used for the preparation of various organometallic complexes, as well as the synthesis of some bioactive molecules.

A commonly used method of preparation is by reacting 3-nitropyridine with excess hydrazine. First, 3-nitropyridine and hydrazine are added to the reaction vessel in a molar ratio of 1:2, and the reaction is stirred under appropriate temperature conditions for a period of time. After completion of the reaction, the product is isolated by crystallization or extraction.
