In vivo study Herbacetin (orally administration; 20mg/kg) significantly reduces the body weight, plasma glucose, plasma insulin, and HOMA-IR activity in obesity associated insulin resistant mice (OIR). (Herbacetin dissolves in 0.5% DMSO). Herbacetin (intraperitoneal injection; 0.4, 2, 10 or 20 mg/kg; B.W.) decreases the number and size of polyps in APCM in+ mice with no overt toxicity.

Herbopyrin can effectively eliminate DPPH radicals and hydroxyl radicals and inhibit protein oxidation, and its antioxidant activity is stronger than the corresponding glycosides. At the same time, studies have shown that the pharmacological activity of the 7-position hydroxyl group of the ring in the grass quality structure will decrease after saccharification, and the more sugar, the lower the activity; the antioxidant activity of flavonoids increases with the number of phenolic hydroxyl groups in the molecule, and the activity increases. In addition, oxalin can induce apoptosis of human hepatoma cell HepG2, which has the potential to develop a new anticancer preparation.
Preparation The method for extracting grass quality from Rhodiola rosea includes the following steps;
