| production method | 1. preparation method: add 227.7g(3.3mol) of sodium nitrite and 1L of water to a reaction bottle equipped with a stirrer, a thermometer and a dropping funnel, stir and dissolve, cool to -5 ℃ in an ice salt bath, slowly add a solution prepared by 147g of concentrated sulfuric acid, 60mL of water and 180g(3.0mol) of isopropanol (2) cooled to 0 ℃ in advance. Dropping acceleration is controlled at the reaction solution temperature of -2~0 ℃, about 2 hours to complete. The low temperature reaction was 1.5h. The organic layer is separated, washed with saturated salt water containing a small amount of sodium bicarbonate, dried with anhydrous magnesium sulfate, distilled under reduced pressure, and the fraction of 39~40 ℃/99.08kPa is collected to obtain 190g isopropyl nitrite (1) with a yield of 71%.
