2,5-diethoxy-4-(morpholin-4-yl)benzenediazonium tetrachlorozincate (2:1) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H16Cl4N4O2Zn.

Nature:
-Appearance: White crystalline solid
-Melting point: 132-135 degrees Celsius
-Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents, such as benzene, carbon disulfide and ethanol, slightly soluble in water.

Use:
- 2,5-diethoxy-4-(morpholin-4-yl)benzenediazonium tetrachlorozincate (2:1) is an organic zinc reagent that can be used in organic synthesis reactions, such as the rearrangement, coupling and cyclization of carbonyl compounds.
-can also be used as dehydration reagent, dehydration reducing agent and pyridine base catalyst.

Method: The preparation of
2,5-diethoxy-4-(morpholin-4-yl)benzenediazonium tetrachlorozincate (2:1) generally uses the following steps:
1. morpholine reacts with zinc tetrachloride to produce morpholine zinc tetrachloride;
2. morpholine zinc tetrachloride reacts with p-cresol alcohol to generate 2,5-diethoxy -4-(morpholin-4-yl) benzene.
3.2,5-diethoxy-4-(morpholin-4-yl)benzene was reacted with zinc tetrachloride to obtain the target product, 2,5-diethoxy-4-(morpholin-4-yl)benzenediazonium tetrachlorozincate (2:1).
