4-hydrazinyl-5,6-dimethylthieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine is an organic compound with the chemical formula C8H10N4S.

1. 3-bromo-4-methylthiophene and KCNS were reacted in acetonitrile to obtain 5,6-dimethylthieno [2,3-d] pyrimidine -4-carboxylic acid.
2. The above product was treated with hydrazine ethanol solution, and 4-hydrazinyl-5,6-dimethylthieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine was obtained by acid-base neutralization reaction.
