Preparation Method:
Ethyl imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine-2-carboxylate can be prepared by the following steps:
1. reacting 3-formylimidazo [1,2-a]pyrazine (3-formyl imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine) with ethyl acetate to generate 3-propionate ethyl imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine (3-propyl ester imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine);
2. reacting ethyl 3-propionate imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine with anhydrous hydrochloric acid to generate Ethyl imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine-2-carboxylate.
