1,1, the preparation of: usually through the following steps:
1.1,1,1-trichloropropane reacts with bromoethane to generate 2-bromo-1,1,1-trichloropropane.
2.2-bromo-1,1,1-trichloropropane is reacted with sodium ethyl to generate 4-bromo-1,1,1-trichloro-3-buten-2-ol.
3.4-bromo-1, 1,1-trichlororo-3-buten-2-ol is reacted with a base to generate 4-ethoxy-1, 1,1-trichlororo-3-buten-2-one.
