The preparation process adopts the steps of sulfonation, ammonia salting out, G salt mother liquor water treatment, G salt ammonium sulfite ammoniation, dehydration solution treatment, etc., using ammonium sulfite instead of ammonium bisulfite as catalyst, effectively reducing the pressure in the ammoniation process, shortening the reaction time, and improving the product yield and content. The two streams of wastewater are treated separately, and 2-naphthol is recovered by water hydrolysis of G salt mother liquor, which is neutralized and discharged up to the standard. The effluent is rich in ammonium sulfate and used as fertilizer for production, basically achieving zero discharge. While solving the problem of wastewater treatment, the unit consumption of 2-naphthol is reduced from 0.75 tons/ton to less than 0.64 tons/ton in the traditional process, which reduces the production cost, has high production safety factor and no harmful gas leakage. It solves the problem that two streams of wastewater are generated in the existing production process, and the wastewater treatment is difficult, resulting in high production costs and causing greater harm to the environment.
