| Overview | 15-O-acetodeoxycitrate falciol is an acetylated derivative of deoxycitrate falciol. DON (deoxynivalenol, DON) is a kind of trichothecene toxin produced by Fusarium in cereals. DON has a variety of biological activities. Studies have shown that DON can reduce the intracellular GRP78 level by inducing the degradation of GRP78. |
| Preparation | Dissolve DON(79.0mg,0.27mmol) in 50mL of anhydrous dichloromethane, add pyridine (1 mL) and 4-DMAP (about 10 mg), and then add acetic anhydride (27.2 mg,0.27mmol) drop by drop. The reaction was stirred overnight, treated with 20mL HCl(2N), and extracted 3 times with 50ml of dichloromethane. After drying with sodium sulfate, the solvent is filtered and evaporated. The remaining residues were subjected to column chromatographic separation (CHCl3:MeOH = 95:5) to obtain 15-ADON, I. e. 15-O-acetyldeoxycitrol (42.0 mg,47%,). |
