AMBERLITE(R) XAD-1180(Polydivinylbenzene) is a solid polymer with good thermal and chemical stability. It is prepared by polymerization of divinylbenzene monomer and has the chemical formula (C8H9)n.
AMBERLITE(R) XAD-1180 mainly has the following properties:
1. High thermal stability: can be used at high temperature, not easy to burn and decompose.
2. chemical stability: acid, alkali and organic solvent erosion, can exist in a variety of chemical environment.
3. High strength: good mechanical strength and rigidity.
4. Good isolation: It has low permeability and can be used as an isolation layer for materials.
The main uses of AMBERLITE(R) XAD-1180 include:
1. Arts and crafts: AMBERLITE(R) XAD-1180 can be used to make sculptures, handicrafts, molds, etc.
2. Separation technology: Due to its good isolation performance, AMBERLITE(R) XAD-1180 can be used to prepare separation membranes, columns and adsorbents, and is widely used in the field of chemical separation and purification.
