| pharmacological action | catalpol is a iridoid glycoside compound that reduces blood sugar and has delayed effect and alleviates diarrhea. it is the main component of radix rehmanniae of Scrophulariaceae. In addition, catalpol also has anti-cerebral ischemia injury, anti-senile dementia, anti-cancer, anti-hepatitis virus, antispasmodic, inhibit capillary permeability and other activities. |
