Cytarabine - Introduction
This product is made from D-arabinose or 5 '-cytosine nucleotides. Its hydrochloride is commonly used. It can inhibit DNA polymerase, interfere with nucleotide participation in DNA, inhibit nucleotide reductase, block cytosine nucleotide reduction to deoxycytosine nucleotide, but has no significant effect on RNA and protein synthesis. Ara-C the insertion of DNA, it inhibits DNA replication by forming a complex with topoisomerase I(topoisomerase I), resulting in DNA cleavage. RNA synthesis cannot be inhibited.
