D-glucosamine - Introduction
glucosamine(glucosamine) is an amino sugar compound, which is divided into two forms: D-form and L-form. The properties of D-type glucosamine are as follows:
Nature:
1. Appearance is white crystalline powder or crystal.
2. It has a sweet taste and is soluble in water and some organic solvents.
3. Stable under acidic conditions, but easily hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions.
Use:
1. medical field: glucosamine is commonly used in the manufacture of cartilage health products, as joint diseases (such as osteoarthritis) adjuvant treatment drugs.
2. food field: can be used as functional food additives, used to improve joint health.
3. cosmetics field: can be used in skin care products, with moisturizing and anti-aging effect.
Method:
glucosamine preparation method mainly through the extraction and synthesis of two methods:
1. extraction method: from seafood shells (such as shrimp, crab) extracted from the shell.
2. synthesis method: starting from glucose or gluconic acid, through chemical reaction synthesis.
Safety Information:
glucosamine is generally considered to be a relatively safe compound and generally does not cause serious adverse reactions. However, individual people may experience allergic reactions, such as rashes, itching, etc., so it is recommended to do an allergy test before use.
