Fludarabine - Introduction
Fludarabine is a STAT1 activation inhibitor in vascular smooth muscle cells, which specifically reduces STAT1 protein level (and mRNA level), but has no such effect on other STATs. It is also an inhibitor of DNA synthesis. Fludarabine is metabolized into an active ingredient in the body, which can inhibit ribonucleotide reductase, DNA polymerases, DNA primers, and DNA ligases, thereby inhibiting DNA synthesis. This product has a selective toxic effect on lymphocytes.
