Preparation Method:
-Generally, 1,4-oxazepane can be prepared by Newton's reaction. This reaction reacts ethylene glycol and ammonia to give 1,4-oxazepane:
CH2CH2OH NH3 → C6H11NO

- 1,4-oxazepane is a flammable liquid and requires attention to fire prevention measures.
-Wear appropriate protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing when handling and using 1,4-oxazepane.
