Method:
- Isopropylthiourea can be prepared by the reaction of acetone and thiourea.
-In the reaction, acetone and thiourea are added to the reaction bottle in a molar ratio of 1:2, and heated to reflux. As the reaction proceeds, the product Isopropylthiourea is gradually formed. After completion of the reaction, the pure product obtained can be purified by crystallization or washing and distillation under reduced pressure.
