| In vivo study | Polaprezinc (PZ) is an antiulcer drug and a chelating compound consisting of a zinc ion, L-carnosine, a β-alanine dipeptide and L-histidine. Polaprezinc exerts antioxidant effects and scavenges free radicals. The efficacy of Polaprezinc is reported for acute radiation proctitis in an animal model and demonstrates that Polaprezinc has an anti-inflammatory effect following exposure to radiation. |

| use | polypryzine is an L-carnosine zinc complex. L-carnosine is a dipeptide composed of β-alanine and L-histidine. It is an antioxidant; zinc can promote wound healing. Clinical experimental data show that poly (zinc) has the effect of anti-oxidation and membrane stability, so as to maintain the balance of gastric mucosa and protect gastric mucosal cells.
