The production methods include ferric nitrate method and ferric chloride method.
Ferric nitrate method: iron nitrate is added into a reactor containing distilled water, and anhydrous sodium pyrophosphate is slowly added under stirring to react to generate Ferric Pyrophosphate, and arsenic removing agent and heavy metal removing agent are added to purify the solution, filter to remove impurities such as arsenic and heavy metals, to the filtrate quickly add the newly prepared polyacrylamide aqueous solution, after standing to pour out the supernatant, the slurry is filtered, washed with hot water, and finally washed with methanol, dried at 80-90 °c to produce a finished edible Ferric Pyrophosphate.
