Usaramine - Introduction
Usaramine is a natural alkaloid, also known as photosynthetic alkaloid or Lycorine. Its chemical structure contains a ring five-membered heterocyclic ring, a ring nine-membered heterocyclic ring and a butyl eye structure. Its chemical formula is C16H17NO4 and its relative molecular mass is 299.31.
Usaramine is a light yellow crystal with a spicy and bitter taste. It is relatively stable and not easy to decompose at room temperature. Under the action of oxidants or strong acids, Usaramine can undergo diketo and dicarboxylation reactions.
