Flavonoids include galangin, Galangin -3-methyl ether, kaempferol -4-methyl ether, kaempferol, quercetin, josonin, dihydrogalangin, catechin, etc, dihydroheptane compounds mainly include diphenylheptane A, diphenylheptane B, diphenylheptane C, diphenylheptane D, phenyl-4-ene-3heptanone, etc. Among them, the content of flavonoids such as galangin and kaempferol is higher. The rhizome of Acorus calamus mainly contains volatile oil, amino acids, phenylpropanoids and sugars.
