| Production method | is obtained by the reaction of sodium phenol and bromoethane. Dissolve phenol in sodium alkoxide solution, cool to below 20°C, and slowly add bromoethane. After the reflux reaction for 3 hours, the ethanol is recovered and the sodium bromide generated by the reaction is filtered out. The crude product is washed with water to separate the oil layer, and the water layer is extracted with ether. The extract is combined with the oil layer, and the fraction at 170-173 ℃ is steamed out after the ether is recovered. |
