maneb - Reference Information

(IARC) carcinogen classification 3 (Vol. 12, Sup 7) 1987
EPA chemical information Information provided by: ofmpub.epa.gov (external link)
toxicity the acute oral LD50 of rats is 10000mg/kg, the acute oral LD50 of rabbits is> 10000mg/kg, and the oral non-acting dose of rats for 90d is 16mg/kg. LC50 for carp was 14.0mg/L (48h). It has irritating effect on rabbit skin and mucous membrane. No triple phenomenon was seen in animal experiments.
use broad-spectrum protective fungicide. It is effective for various vegetable and fruit tree diseases. Spray 500~700 times of 70% wettable powder can prevent and control vegetable early blight, gray mold, downy mildew and melon anthracnose. In addition, it can also be used to prevent fruit tree scab, red star disease, anthracnose, etc.
Manganese is a broad-spectrum fungicide with a wide range of applications. Mainly used in vegetables and fruit trees, can prevent various anthracnose, downy mildew, scab, blight, spot disease, etc. It is often used with 400-650 times of 70% wettable powder. According to different diseases, its dosage is 75-750g of original medicine/mu.
Production method is obtained by the reaction of daisenium and manganese oxide. The 40% amosenium was added to the reactor, manganese oxide was added under stirring, and the temperature was raised to 40 ℃ for 2 hours. Cooling, filtering, drying, that is, the generation of manganese. It can also be reacted with manganese chloride and NaHSO3 as stabilizer with a yield of 95%.
By the reaction of ethylenediamine and carbon disulfide, sodium dysen is generated in the presence of NaOH (see the preparation method of zinc for the two-step method); sodium dysen reacts with manganese sulfate to generate manganese; manganese dysen reacts with zinc chloride to generate manganese zinc.
