β-Eudesmol - Introduction

β-Eudesmol(β-Eudesmol) is a natural organic compound belonging to the class of terpenes. It can be found in eucalyptus leaves and some other plants. The following is a description of the properties, uses, preparation and safety information of β-Eudesmol:

Nature:
β-Eudesmol is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid with a special aromatic odor. Its chemical formula is C15H26O and its relative molecular mass is 222.37g/mol. β-Eudesmol has a boiling point of 180-183°C and a melting point of 7-10°C.

Use:
1. Cosmetics and Fragrance Industry: β-Eudesmol has a unique aroma and is often used as a fragrance ingredient in perfumes, soaps, shampoos and cosmetics.
2. Drug research: β-Eudesmol has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities in drug research. It is widely used in the research of effective components of traditional Chinese medicine and in the field of drug development.

Preparation Method:
The extraction methods of β-Eudesmol mainly include distillation extraction and solvent extraction.
