| Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties are white or yellow powder, soluble in water, pI5.1, and the optimum pH value is 4.5-5.0. Stability: under the condition of 4 ℃, the activity of preservation for six months decreased by 10%; The activity of preservation for 12 months decreased by 20%. Adding butanol can increase its stability. If there is turbidity, the activity will not be affected. Inhibitors include D-glucuronic acid, D-galacturonic acid and organic peroxides. The absorption coefficient of 1% aqueous solution is 17.0 at 280nm. It can quickly hydrolyze steroid glucuronide and other glucuronides, but does not hydrolyze α-or β-glucuronide. Enzymatic reaction: bound β-D-glucuronide + H2O-D-glucuronide + alcohol. |
