(1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-1,3-dihydro-2H-imidazol-2-ylidene)((1,1,1-trifluoro-N-((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)methyl)sulfonamido)gold(I) - Introduction
Nature:
-Appearance:[1,3-Bis(2,6-di-i-propylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene][bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide]gold(I) is a colorless to pale yellow solid.
-Melting point: approximately 140-143°C.
-Solubility: Soluble in some organic solvents, such as chloroform, dichloromethane and toluene.
Use:
- [1,3-Bis(2,6-di-i-propylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene][bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide]gold(I) is a synergistic catalyst of gold and is widely used in organic synthesis. It can participate in C- C coupling reactions, transition metal catalyzed reactions and other important organic conversion reactions.
-It is also used as a pre-catalyst for gold, which can improve the activity of gold by pre-catalytic reaction with a reducing agent before the reaction.
Preparation Method:
[1,3-Bis(2,6-di-i-propylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene][bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide]gold(I) is usually prepared by the following steps:
1. Through the synthesis of [1,3-bis (2,6-di-I-propylphenyl) imidazole-2-allide](IMes).
2. by reacting [1,3-bis (2,6-di-I-propylphenyl) imidazole-2-allide](IMes) with trifluoromethanesulfonimide (SO2CF3) to prepare [1,3-bis (2, 6-Di-l-propylphenyl) imidazole-2-allide] [bis (trifluoromethanesulfonyl) imide](IMes[SO2CF3]).
3. Preparation of the final product [1,3-Bis(2,6-di-i-propylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene][bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)] gold(I) by reaction with a gold(I) salt such as chloroaurate.
Safety Information:
- [1,3-Bis(2,6-di-i-propylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene][bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide]gold(I) is considered relatively safe under general conditions, but it is still necessary to follow correct safety procedures when handling and handling.
