(2,5-Dimethoxyphenyl)(A-Osimidoethyl)Ketone - Production method
Hydroquinone and dimethyl sulfate are refluxed under alkaline conditions to generate p-dimethoxybenzene, and then propionyl chloride is condensed with anhydrous aluminum trichloride to obtain 2, 5-dimethoxyphenylacetone. The latter is condensed with methyl nitrite with the participation of hydrogen chloride to prepare the product.
