Use | is an organic synthesis intermediate |
Production method | Add 2-furanoic acid to water to cool, stir, and add bromine dropwise. The reactants were heated and refluxed for 0.5h. After full cooling, the product is precipitated, filtered, and the filter cake is ground with sodium bisulfite and water before filtering to obtain crude products. The crude product was recrystallized with boiling water and decolorized with activated carbon to obtain pure product 2, 3-dibromo-2-butenal acid. Yield 64-67%. |
