biological activity | siberine (Sipeimine) is a natural product isolated from Fritillaria usticum. |
Chemical properties | White needle-like crystals, easily soluble in chloroform and ethyl acetate, soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, ether, insoluble in water and petroleum ether, from Fritillaria fructoides. |
use | sibeimine has antispasmodic and antihypertensive effects, and is used for cough of chronic and acute tracheitis and upper respiratory tract infection. used for content determination/identification/pharmacological experiment, etc. Pharmacological effects: Sibeimine has antihypertensive effect on anesthetized dogs, mainly due to peripheral vasodilation, and has no obvious effect on electrocardiogram. It has obvious relaxation effect on isolated guinea pig ileum, rabbit duodenum, rat uterus and whole dog small intestine. The antispasmodic effect is similar to papaverine, which can resist the spasm caused by acetylcholine chloride, histamine diphosphate and barium chloride. At a concentration of 1:167 000~1:500 000, Fritillaria increased the tension of the isolated guinea pig uterus, and the water immersion agent (1:25 concentration) had an inhibitory effect on Stylioca in the test tube. Cough for chronic and acute tracheitis and upper respiratory tract infection. |
