Use | Boc-3-(2-naphthyl)-L-alanine is an amino acid derivative, which can be 3-(2-naphthyl)-L-alanine is protected by Boc anhydride. It is reported that Boc-3-(2-naphthyl)-L-alanine can be used to prepare lanreotide (Lanreotide). Lanreotide is a somatostatin octapeptide analog, which is more active than natural somatostatin and has similar properties to octreotide. Long-acting injection is used to treat acromegaly and thyroid-stimulating hormone adenoma, and can also be used to control the symptoms of neuroendocrine tumors, especially carcinoid syndrome. |
