1,1,7,7-Tetramethyl-8-hydroxy-9-formyljulolidine - Introduction
9-Aldehyd-8-hydroxy-1, 1,7, 7-tetramethyljulonidin is a compound, also known as furosemide, with the following properties and uses:
Nature:
-Appearance: White to light yellow crystalline powder.
-Solubility: Soluble in ethanol and chloroform, slightly soluble in water and ether.
-Melting point: about 181-183 ℃.
-storage conditions: should be stored in a dry, ventilated, dark place.
Use:
-Furosemide is a diuretic that is widely used in the treatment of diseases such as hypertension and heart failure.
-It can increase urine excretion by inhibiting sodium reabsorption by the renal tubules, thereby reducing fluid retention and reducing plasma volume.
Preparation Method:
-The preparation method of furosemide is more complicated, and the general steps include:
1.3,4-dimethylbutyraldehyde reacts with ethyl acetate to generate 4-ethoxy -2,2-dimethyl -3-hydrogen furan -5-one.
2. it is further converted into 9,9-dimethyl -7-ethoxyhydroxy -3-hydrogen -10H-furan [2,3-b] pyrazol-10-one by sodium chloride/sodium hydrogen acetate treatment and acidification.
3. Finally, 9-aldehyde -8-hydroxy -1,1,7,7-tetramethyljulonidine was obtained by reacting with aminoethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride.
Safety Information:
-Furosemide is a prescription drug and should only be used under the guidance of a doctor. It should not be purchased and taken by yourself.
-During the use of furosemide, attention should be paid to the monitoring of renal function and electrolyte levels to prevent possible side effects.
-Some patients may have an allergic reaction to furosemide. If allergic symptoms occur, stop the drug immediately and seek medical help.
-According to the individual situation, the doctor will adjust the dosage and medication time, and provide guidance and advice on the use.
