1,2-diaMino-4,5-dinitrilebenzene - Introduction
4,5-Diaminobenzonitrile (4,5-diamino-1,2-benzene dinitrile) is an organic compound also known as DAPN. The following is a description of some of the properties, uses, methods and safety information of DAPN:
Nature:
-Appearance: 4,5-Diaminoortho-benzonitrile is a colorless to pale yellow crystalline solid.
-Solubility: better solubility in anhydrous organic solvents, and low solubility in water.
Use:
-Material application: DAPN can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of organic polymers and polymer films.
-Photoelectric material: It can also be used to prepare optoelectronic devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) and organic solar cells.
-Chemical reaction: DAPN can be used as a starting material or intermediate in organic synthesis, and participate in a variety of organic synthesis reactions.
Preparation Method:
-Generally, the synthesis method of DAPN is to obtain triamino ortho-benzene (TAP) through the reaction of o-phenylenediamine and hydrocyanic acid, and then convert TAP into DAPN through nitration reaction. The reaction conditions and the choice of catalyst have an important influence on the reaction effect.
Safety Information:
- DAPN is a chemical and should be handled with caution. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as lab gloves and safety glasses.
-Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and respiratory tract. In case of accidental contact, immediately flush the affected area with water and seek medical help.
- DAPN should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place away from sources of ignition.
