Introduction | Substituted amino anthraquinone such as solvent blue 97 can be used as a dye for plastics and synthetic fibers, for example, and also as a precursor (precursor, precursor) for the preparation of wool (use) dyes. Hydroxycarboxylic acids, NMP are used as solvents, or dipolar aprotic solvents are used in the preparation. So far they are prepared by reacting 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone (quinone) mixed with 2, 3-dihydro-1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone (colorless quinone) with amine in the presence or absence of condensation additives. |
main properties | solvent blue 97 is a blue powder, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents, with excellent fastness, temperature resistance and migration resistance, and high tinting power. |
preparation | under nitrogen, 20.35g of quinone lassie, 20.38g of dihydroquinone lassie (including 0.47g quinone lassie), 10.8g of trimethyl borate and 8.71g of lactic acid 90% by weight were introduced into 159.7g of 2,6-diethyl-4-methylaniline. The mixture was heated to 115°C for 1 hour, during which the resulting methanol was evaporated. The temperature was then immediately raised to 145°C over 2.5 hours and the mixture was stirred at 145°C for 8 hours, during which time the resulting water was distilled. The reaction is completely examined by means of thin layer chromatography. The mixture is then cooled to 125°C and air is passed through the mixture for 3 hours. After cooling to 80°C, 20.6g of potassium hydroxide powder was added and air was passed through the mixture again for 4 hours at 80°C. At 70°C and during 2 hours, 290ml of methanol was added dropwise, followed by stirring under mild boiling for 1 hour. Finally, the suspension was cooled to room temperature, leached, washed in batches with 200ml of cold methanol and then 1L of hot water (80°C). Vacuum drying at 80°C to obtain 72.9g (82.0% of theoretical yield) of blue crystalline powder of solvent blue 97, heating time: 3.5h, condensation time: 8h. |
use | solvent blue RR is used for coloring various plastics. |
Production method | Using 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone and 2, 6-diethyl-4-methylaniline as raw materials, first 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone is reduced to its leopacic, then condensed with 2, 6-diethyl-4-methylaniline, and then oxidized to obtain the product. The finished product is filtered and dried.. |
