use | 4-nitrophenyl ethyl bromide is an important fine chemical product. because there are easily reactive functional groups such as nitro, halogen and benzene ring in the molecule, it is widely used in medicine, dyes and other fields. The demand of enterprises is strong and has a good market prospect. |
synthesis method | 4-nitrophenylethyl bromide was synthesized from β-bromophenane with acetic acid, acetic anhydride and fuming nitric acid as nitrating agents. The effect of reaction conditions on product yield was investigated experimentally. Experiments show that the suitable reaction conditions are: the reaction temperature is controlled at -5 ℃, 0.15mol of fuming nitric acid and 0.12mol of acetic anhydride are needed to 0.1mol of β-bromophenylethane, the reaction time is 4 hours, and the yield of 4-nitrophenylethyl bromide is 69.2%. |
