properties | 2-(thiomethyl) ethylamine is a thioether amine compound, transparent colorless liquid. |
Use | 2-(thiomethyl) ethylamine is an intermediate for the preparation of a novel 2-aminobenzamide inhibitor of heat Shock protein 90. It is a potent, selective and orally active anti-tumor drug. It has also been used to synthesize potent, broad-spectrum non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors belonging to the DABO family. |
preparation | there are few reports on the synthesis of thioether amines, it is reported in the literature that the thioether amine is synthesized by the reaction of bromoethylamine with sodium metal in ethanol solvent and hexylthiol, and the distillation temperature is as high as 200-220 ℃ when the separation and purification are carried out, the reaction is severe, the control is difficult and the cost is high. The synthetic principle is that bromoethylamine hydrochloride reacts with triethylamine in n-hexanol solvent to produce chloroethylamine. The reaction of hexyl mercaptan with sodium hydride in ethylene glycol diethyl ether solvent yields sodium hexyl mercaptan. The product thioether Amine was synthesized from sodium hexyl mercaptan and 2-chloroethylamine, and the main by-product was disulfide. In this paper, ethylene glycol diethyl ether as solvent, methyl iodide, sodium hydride and aminoethyl mercaptan as raw material synthesis of thioether Amine, mild reaction conditions, simple process, easy operation and low cost. The synthesis reaction formula of 2-(thiomethyl) ethylamine is shown in the figure below: fig.1 |
