Abstract:
The study on the synthesis of high purity monoglycerides by chemical group protection method has not yet achieved industrialization. However, the synthesis of Glycerol monostearate catalyzed by M_nO_m/SO_4 ~(2-) solid superacid and the synthesis of glycerol monoctanoate catalyzed by P-toluenesulfonic acid are rarely reported in the literature. In this paper, Glycerol monostearate and glycerol monoctanoate were synthesized by esterification, hydrolysis and a series of reactions using glycerol, boric acid, stearic acid, the structure was confirmed by NMR. A variety of common M_nO_m/SO_4 ~(2-) solid superacids were prepared and used as catalysts for the synthesis of BIS (3-stearyloxy-1, 2-propanediol) Ester. Bis (3-octanoyloxy-1, 2-propanediol) borate was synthesized using p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst. The optimum conditions for synthesis of glyceryl monostearate and glyceryl monocaprylate were determined by factor analysis. The solubility and emulsifying properties of glyceryl monostearate and glyceryl monocaprylate were studied, the thermostability of glyceryl monostearate, glyceryl monoctanoate and their intermediates were investigated by thermogravimetry.
