101-11-1 - Introduction
N-Ethyl-N-(3 '-sulfonic acid benzyl) aniline is an organic compound with the chemical formula C14H16N2O3S.
Nature:
N-Ethyl-N-(3 '-sulfonic acid benzyl) aniline is a white crystalline solid, soluble in water and organic solvents. It is weakly alkaline and can react with acids.
Use:
N-ethyl-N-(3 '-sulfonic acid benzyl) aniline is an important intermediate compound commonly used in organic synthesis. It is widely used in dyes, printing and dyeing, fluorescent dyes, medicine and photosensitive materials and other fields.
Preparation Method:
The preparation method of N-ethyl-N-(3 '-sulfonic acid benzyl) aniline includes two steps of sulfonation reaction and ethylation reaction of benzylamine. First, benzylsulfonic acid benzylamine is formed by reacting benzylamine with sulfonic acid; then, benzylsulfonic acid benzylamine is reacted with ethyl chloride under basic conditions to form N-ethyl-N-(3 '-sulfonic acid benzyl) aniline.
Safety Information:
The safety of N-ethyl-N-(3 '-sulfonic acid benzyl) aniline is high, but some basic safety regulations still need to be followed. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, wear gloves and goggles if necessary, and ensure a well-ventilated working environment. In the use of the process should avoid inhalation of dust or mist, and stored in a dry, cool place, away from the fire and oxidant. If accidental contact or inhalation, should immediately rinse with water, and medical treatment.
