102113-98-4 - Introduction
Di (4-biphenyl) amine (also known as 4,4 '-diaminodiphenylamine, also abbreviated as DAPB) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H12N2. It is a white crystalline powder with a faint peculiar smell.
Bis (4-biphenyl) amine has the following properties:
1. melting point: about 285-290 ℃;
2. insoluble in water, insoluble in alcohol;
3. Soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, ether and benzene;
4. has certain toxicity.
Di (4-biphenyl) amine is mainly used as a chemical reagent for organic synthesis and dye synthesis. It is also used as an intermediate for electronic materials, for example as an organic semiconductor material for optoelectronic components. In addition, bis (4-biphenyl) amine can be used as a dye, a fluorescent dye, and a photosensitive material in the optical field.
Bis (4-biphenyl) amine can be synthesized by the following methods:
1. obtained by reacting aniline with polyimide;
2. through the condensation reaction of aniline and phthaloquinone;
3. by the condensation reaction of aniline and fluorenoquinone.
Regarding the safety information of di (4-biphenyl) amine, it is a toxic substance and should be avoided by inhalation and contact with skin. Appropriate personal protective measures should be taken during use or storage, such as wearing protective glasses, gloves and protective masks.
