In vitro study | FPL 62064 inhibits both 5-1ipoxygenase (IC 50 of 3.5 μM for RBL-1 cytosolic 5-1ipoxygenase) and prostaglandin synthetase (IC 50 of 3.1 μM for seminal vesicle prostaglandin synthetase ) with equal facility in the isolated enzyme screens. However in the intact RBL-I cell prostaglandin synthetase (IC 50 of 3.6 μM) is more readily inhibited by FPL 62064 than is 5-1ipoxygenase (IC 50 of 31 μM). This difference in sensitivity is not reflected in the mouse macrophage where the IC 50 s for leukotriene (IC 50 of 0.72 μM) and prostaglandin (IC 50 of 0.43 μM) production are similar. |
In vivo study | FPL 62064 (5-20 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; female LACA mice) treatment inhibits peritoneal inflammation induced by immune-complex. Animal Model: Female LACA mice (20-30 g) injected with immune complex. Dosage: 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg, 20 mg/kg Administration: Intraperitoneal injection Result: Produced a dose-related inhibition of dye extravasation, leukotriene C 4 (LTC 4 ) and prostaglandin E 2 (PGE 2 ) formation. |
103141-09-9 - Introduction
The FPL 62064 is an organic compound often referred to simply as MPPA. The following is a description of the nature, use, preparation and safety information of MPPA:
Nature:
MPPA is a white to yellowish crystal that is solid at room temperature. Its chemical formula is C17H15N3O, and its relative molecular mass is 281.32g/mol. MPPA is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, dimethylformamide (DMF) and dichloromethane, but insoluble in water.
Use:
MPPA is widely used in chemical research. It is often used as an important intermediate in organic synthesis for the synthesis of a variety of biologically active compounds. MPPA can be used to synthesize anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral compounds and other drugs.
Preparation Method:
The preparation of MPPA can be obtained by the reaction of aniline and 4-methoxyphenylisonitrile. The specific preparation method is as follows:
1. Take aniline and 4-methoxy phenyl nitrile, with the right amount of solvent reaction at low temperature.
2. After the reaction, crystallization or column chromatography purification is carried out to obtain pure MPPA product.
Safety Information:
MPPA is not currently listed in the public list of dangerous goods. However, as an organic compound, it is potentially dangerous. When using MPPA, follow safe practices and take necessary personal protective measures, such as wearing appropriate protective gloves, eye goggles and laboratory coats. At the same time, the MPPA should be kept away from fire and oxidizing agents, and stored in a cool, dry place to prevent its decomposition or moisture. If accidental contact or inhalation of MPPA, should be promptly washed or medical treatment. It is best to operate and handle MPPA under the guidance of professionals.
