105130-26-5 - Introduction
4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline(4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C11H10N2O. It has a white to pale yellow crystalline solid.
In terms of properties, 4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline is a weakly alkaline substance that can react with acid to form salt under neutral conditions. Its solubility in water is not high, can be dissolved in some organic solvents such as ethanol, chloroform and dichloromethane.
In application, 4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline is an important organic synthesis intermediate. It can be used to synthesize other organic compounds, such as fluorescent dyes, pesticides and pharmaceutical substances.
In terms of preparation, 4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline can be prepared by the reaction of aniline and 2-chloropyrimidine. Firstly, 4-(2-pyrimidinyl) aniline was generated by nucleophilic substitution reaction of aniline with 2-chloropyrimidine under the catalysis of base. Subsequently, 4-(2-pyrimidinyl) aniline is reacted with a basic ion exchange resin to give 4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline.
For safety information, 4-(2-Pyrimidinyloxy)aniline should avoid inhaling, swallowing, or touching skin. Wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves, glasses and protective clothing during operation. In addition, it should be operated in a well-ventilated area to avoid contact with flammable substances or oxidizing agents.
