2-(trimethylsilyl) ethane sulfonyl chloride is usually used as a reagent in chemical reactions and is widely used in organic synthesis, mainly for the following aspects:
-As a chlorinating agent, it is used in the sulfonyl chloride reaction in the reaction.
-As a reagent with nucleophilic offensive properties, it can be used for esterification, acylation and sulfonylation reactions.
-used as sulfonyl chloride reagent, plays an important role in drug synthesis and natural product synthesis.
Preparation Method:
The preparation of 2-(trimethylsilyl) ethanesulfonyl chloride can be carried out by the following steps:
1.2-(dimethylsilyl) ethane sulfonyl chloride is obtained from the reaction of dimethylethane and thionyl chloride.
2.2-(Dimethylsilyl) ethane sulfonyl chloride is further reacted to obtain 2-(trimethylsilyl) ethane sulfonyl chloride.
