112160-33-5 - Introduction
N-Benzyloxycarbonyl-N'-(2,2,5,7, 8-pentamethylchroman-6-sulfonyl)-L-arginine cyclohexylamine salt, abbreviated as C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS or Lys(Boc)-C6-PNAS, is an organic compound.
Nature:
C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS is a white crystalline powder with a molecular formula of C31H43N5O8S and a molecular weight of 645.77. It is stable at room temperature and pressure, soluble in a small amount of organic solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and methanol. This compound is stable under acidic conditions, but may generate ammonia gas under strong alkaline or acidic catalytic conditions.
Use:
C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS is commonly used as a reagent for chemical synthesis of proteins in biological research. It is a protein protecting group that can be used to protect amino acids or end groups in peptide synthesis. C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS can also be used in the development and research of polypeptide drugs, for example as part of a drug delivery system.
Preparation Method:
The preparation of C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS usually requires the use of solid phase or liquid phase chemical synthesis methods. In the liquid phase synthesis, L-arginine is first reacted with C6 cyclohexylamine to obtain a Lys(Boc)-C6 compound with a protecting group, and then reacted to generate a C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS with a Boc protecting group. Solid phase synthesis is by L-arginine and the C6-Lys of Boc protecting group as a precursor attached to the solid phase carrier, and then by chemical reaction followed by the introduction of C6 cyclohexylamine and PNAS protecting group to obtain C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS.
Safety Information:
The C6-Lys-Boc-PNAS is generally relatively safe under normal operating conditions. However, as with any chemical substance, care should be taken to follow laboratory safety practices. Avoid inhalation, ingestion or skin contact, use protective gloves and goggles, and ensure that the operation is carried out in a well-ventilated environment. For accidental contact or inhalation, please consult a doctor and bring the package to the doctor for reference.
