Abstract:
The present invention relates to a calcium nitride synthesis process comprising the aid of an injector (5) the molten zinc-calcium alloy is sprayed in the form of droplets into a reactor (6) comprising nitrogen at high temperature. The generated calcium nitride is collected in a collection unit (7) in the lower part of the reactor (6). The zinc contained in the droplets is evaporated, condensed on the cooled walls of the reactor (6) and reused for the preparation of further alloys. The zinc-calcium alloy is obtained by electrolyzing calcium chloride in an electrolytic cell (11) in which the cathode (14) is a solution comprising molten zinc.

Abstract:
we have carried out high-pressure X-ray synchrotron radiation experiment, high-pressure Raman scattering experiment, high-pressure far-infrared absorption experiment and high-pressure mid-infrared absorption experiment on calcium azide powder, the maximum pressures reached in the experiment were 54 GPa,19.2 GPa,23 GPa and 31 GPa, respectively. No structural phase transition was found in the whole experimental pressure range. The zero modulus of calcium azide and the pressure derivative of the bulk modulus obtained in the experiment are B0 = 41.22±1.14 GPa,B0 & prime;= 5.3±0.04, this value is higher than all alkali metal azides due to the difference in ionic nature of the bond between the metal and the azide.
