1204298-65-6 - Introduction
5-Difluoromethyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid, also known as DFMP, is an organic compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:
Nature:
-Appearance: Colorless to light yellow solid
-Molecular formula: C6H4F2N2O2
-Molecular weight: 170.11g/mol
-Melting point: 146-147 degrees Celsius
-Boiling point: 388.1 degrees Celsius (under 760 mmHg)
-Density: 1.51 g/ml
-Solubility: Slightly soluble in water, better solubility in organic solvents
Use:
- DFMP is mainly used as pesticide intermediates and pharmaceutical intermediates. It can be used in the synthesis of various compounds, such as cyclic azole pesticides, antibacterial agents and anti-epileptic drugs.
-As an effective bisimide pesticide intermediate, it has broad-spectrum activity and can be used to control a variety of crop pests.
Preparation Method:
The preparation of-DFMP is generally obtained by a nitroylation reaction. First, 2,4-difluoronitrobenzene and formic anhydride are reacted to prepare 2,4-difluoronitroformic anhydride, and then 5-difluoromethyl -1-methyl -1-methyl -1-1-1---------------------------4-carboxylic acid is obtained by ester exchange reaction with 4-amino -1-methyl pyrazole.
Safety Information:
- DFMP is toxic to humans and may cause irritation to the eyes, respiratory system and skin.
-Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and respiratory tract when using. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks and safety goggles should be worn as necessary.
-Please use or operate in a well-ventilated place, and store properly to avoid contact with oxidants and organic matter.
-If inhaled or exposed to large amounts of DFMP, seek medical attention.
