Preparation Method:
(2S)-2-(1H-tetrazol-1-yl) propionic acid can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. reacting chloroacetaldehyde with tetrazolium to generate tetrazolium acetaldehyde;
2. converting tetrazolium acetaldehyde into tetrazolium ethane by alkylation reaction;
3. reacting tetrazole ethane with (Boc)2O in the presence of carbon disulfide to obtain (N-Boc) tetrazole acetone;
4. Finally, (N-Boc) tetrazolacetone was treated with HCl to give the final product (2S)-2-(1H-tetrazol-1-yl) propionic acid.
